American Pale Ale (APA) is a top-fermented beer style. A rejuvenation of the traditional English Pale Ales with American hops, a flagship of the craft beer revolution. It's characteristically hoppy, including pleasant, grassy notes. Most times the hops provide the beer's bitter, citric character, but it is always kept in check by the sweeter, maltier flavours.
