The Foundation Series addresses this issue: here we have bottled "base juices" that were later expanded with at least one exciting ingredient, removing the final beer from its original flavor and style.
The Foundation bottles aim to present these original flavor and style characteristics. These are typically full-bodied batches that fully match the original style expectations, and which almost never end up on the table of beer consumers in this form - this deficiency is filled by the Foundation Series.
