Besides Imperial Stouts, Barley Wines are clearly our big barrel-aged loves, so as soon as we felt we had managed to put together a piece that carried all the notes of the style, we had to start playing with it.
Our second version, Buru, was aged in a Jack Daniels barrel - one that we had already used several times, so the woody and spicy bourbon notes came out less loudly. However, what came out was perfectly suited to aging on a bed of apricots for several weeks, so we did just that.
It is a restrained fruity, maximally roasted malty, and thanks to the micro-oxidation that occurs during barrel aging, it is also dense in texture, an exciting piece.
We deliver our beers to our customers with GLS and Foxpost courier services with home delivery and parcel point collection. Packages are shipped every Wednesday and, in most cases, arrive at the requested delivery point by Friday.
